WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

....it was to take on Victoria's terrain by adventure bike. Sceptical but open minded, I hopped on board a very different moto cockpit than what I was used to - Honda's Africa Twin, and headed to the Victorian High Country. For someone who started the day with a few sarcastic comments I shut my mouth pretty quickly. It took me no longer than an hour to be grinning ear to ear. Not only were the bikes surprisingly fun to wrangle but taking in Victoria's High Country with it's impressive mountain lines and rich array of life , landscape and dirt provided me with some thoughts that I couldn't escape from....

 

Those thoughts stuck with me, until one night after a few quenching cold ones I locked myself into a think tank - how can I make this more accessible to others to experience? That's when the idea for Lee Hogan's High Country Tours was crafted.

 

Since then I've been back to find the best routes and tracks, the best accomodation options with all the frills but still stuck true to sharing adventure amongst scenery and the best food spots High Country Victoria has to offer to bring to you the ultimate dual experience on wheels in High Country Victoria.

 

For me, it all started with an invite... It's time for me to pass on the baton now, and here's yours....
